Synergi Partners, Inc. (“Synergi”) is a privately owned tax credit and incentive consulting company operated by tax credit industry veterans with more than 40 years of experience. Synergi focuses on identifying and processing federal and state tax credits for employers across the United States, including Puerto Rico.
Our team of professionals offers premium client service, comprehensive data analysis, and years of experience in the industry — the combination of which gives us the ability to identify tax credit opportunities for our clients.
History
Synergi was founded as a result of a simple observation: the tax credit industry had become passionless and stagnant. The goal was to ignite passion back into the industry and provide top-tier client service, all while processing credits for our clients. Our CEO began his career at the inception of the Targeted Jobs Tax Credit (TJTC) which was eventually replaced with the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC).
By the early 2000s, he and several of Synergi’s owners and members of the executive team had successfully built the largest tax credit practice, Shelly Management Services (SMS), in the country that served dozens of Fortune 500 companies as well as thousands of small to mid-size businesses. This company was acquired by one of the largest payroll and human capital management companies, Automatic Data Processing (ADP).
Synergi’s executives and management team’s prior roles at Big 4 accounting firms, Fortune 500 companies, and some of the largest HCM providers, have provided the experience and knowledge to create a business focused 100% on tax credits.

With an executive team made up of thought leaders who have made significant contributions to the tax incentives industry, Synergi’s mission is to provide the best service available and create value for its clients.
Our process involves researching each piece of tax credit legislation to understand the qualifications for the credit opportunity in-depth. There are many companies that offer tax credit and incentive consulting services – there are very few that are 100% focused on it.
